Stuart from sales provided excellent service. The delivery team was quick and arrived with the furniture right on schedule. They even added cushion stoppers to the legs to keep my floor safe and took away all the trash.

In a time when there are plenty of downsides, I just gotta say that the service from Gillies, both in terms of selection at the Aberdeen shop and the help we received, was top-notch. The carpet fitters who came on the 14th and 15th of February did an amazing job. On that Monday, I believe the two guys were contractors for Gillies, and they really nailed it in the first two bedrooms. But I gotta give a special shoutout to Richard, Jason, and Jay, the Gilles fitters on the 15th. They were absolutely fantastic—very professional and super polite while working in our third bedroom, hall, and living room. They even took the time to put our furniture back in those rooms, which was a huge help since I've been feeling under the weather lately. It saved my wife and me a ton of effort. Hats off to everyone at Gillies! We've relied on them many times before, and they've only strengthened our trust in them.

From the first question I had, through the measuring process and fitting, I was treated with dignity and made to feel valued. Gillies prioritized me, the customer, and it was no hassle for them to postpone the carpet fitting for 3 months while I wrapped up other work.

The crew of carpet installers were friendly and polite. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves.

The administrative side was super smooth - phone calls and emails were responded to quickly, and any questions I had were sorted out without any hassle.

I always check out other options, but I keep coming back to Gillies. You can't put a price on top-quality service and peace of mind, and Gillies definitely stands out.

The shop gave some good tips while I was purchasing, but we weren’t told (even after asking about delivery by Gillies and paying for it) that they only deliver to our area once a week. When I got a call saying my item was ready for pickup, I mentioned I could be home by 3:30 PM, but that just wasn’t gonna work for delivery. I ended up waiting a whole month until I had some time off to arrange for delivery.

The salesperson was super nice and really helpful. I didn’t feel any pressure at all. They showed me a bunch of different recliners. They also warned me about issues with dye transfer on lighter leather. My order was sent to the warehouse to set up delivery. Everything went smoothly, and the chair arrived as planned on Thursday morning.

There’s a bit of decoration damage, but it’s really not a big deal. The two guys who came were super professional and really helpful. They also needed to fit two threshold strips.
